Depending on the legal basis for the processing of personal data, the person whose personal data is processed by Animex Foods Group companies may have the right to:
- access to the content of your personal data;
- correct it;
- delete, transfer or limit processing;
- object to processing;
- withdraw consent to processing of their personal data (if the data is processed solely on the basis of the consent of the person it concerns);
The rights a person has in a particular case will largely depend on what is the legal basis for its processing.
The indicated persons also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory body – the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.

How do we verify the identity of persons who send their letters to the Data Protection Officer?
Animex Foods Group makes sure that your information, as well as your personal data, does not fall into the wrong hands. Therefore, in implementing the resulting from art. 15 – 22 GDPR we comply with the principle of appropriate verification of the entity submitting the request for the exercise of rights, m.in. through the implemented identity verification system. This is necessary to ensure that the person who made the request is the same as the data subject and that the request will not be fulfilled at the request of an unauthorized person.
Therefore, for the adequate protection of any personal data that is processed by Animex Foods Group, regardless of the communication channel by which the request to exercise the right is received – we will verify your identity, taking into account the principles indicated in Art. 12 GDPR.
Verification of identity will include:
- contact using the contact details provided by you in the request itself, as well as previously held by us;
- directing questions to you, formulated in such a way that they cannot be answered by a person who unlawfully came into possession of your identity document or uses data contained in public registers such as the National Court Register.
If you answer the questions correctly, you will be informed and we will proceed to process your request.
If you answer the questions incorrectly or for other reasons we will have doubts about your identity, your request may not be fulfilled, about which you will be informed, in such a situation however we may look for another way to carry out the verification together.
If, after receiving your request, it turns out that we do not have the information to carry out the verification process, you will be informed.
In such a situation, you will be able to provide us with additional information to enable verification, or you can file a complaint with a supervisory authority or seek legal remedies in court.
Identity verification may take place through a different communication channel than the request to exercise the rights was received.
Identity verification may vary depending on the scope of your request.
