According to the GDPR, the processing of any personal data is compliant with the law if:
- the data subject has consented to the processing of his or her personal data for one or more specific purposes;
- processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract;
- processing is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which the administrator is subject;
- processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the administator, except for the situations in which those interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.
We always make sure that the processing of your personal data does not take place without the existence of an appropriate legal basis. We process only the data that is necessary for the proper implementation of individual business processes. We have implemented procedures to prevent the collection of redundant data. We verify our collections on an ongoing basis in order to remove data that is no longer necessary.
Our IT systems are protected against accidental leakage of your data outside, as well as against hacker attacks. Continuous measures are being taken to ensure the highest possible level of protection against all existing and future threats. We use the latest technology to protect any personal information we hold.
In connection with e-mail contact to an address from the animex.pl or agriplus.pl domain, personal data is transferred outside the EEA (European Economic Area), i.e. to Smithfield Foods Inc. in the USA.
In connection with this transfer, the Joint Administrators have applied the following security measures:
- signed with Smithfield Foods Inc. an agreement containing standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission governing the transfer and access of data by Smithfield Foods Inc. (Data Transfer Agreement);
- the scope of transferred data is limited only to business contact details and information contained in e-mail correspondence;
- access to the data provided is only available to employees or permanent collaborators of the IT Department of Smithfield Foods Inc. in accordance with the established scope of powers and only in situations related to a potential threat to the security of IT systems.
In addition, the Joint Administrators inform that within the extent to which they use Microsoft services, processing of personal data related to this takes place within the EEA (European Economic Area).
